Liam had a wonderful day today! He participated well in speech therapy and attempted 3-word sentences independently. He also joined the group activity for 10 minutes — a real milestone!

Mark JacobsQuestion
That is wonderful to hear! Did he manage the group activity without any sensory issues? He sometimes struggles with the noise level.

Yes! He joined for about 10 minutes and did really well. We used his noise-reducing headphones during the louder parts, which helped a lot.

We practiced communication exercises today using picture cards. Liam was very engaged and correctly identified 8 out of 10 cards. Great progress on his IEP communication goals!

Liam had a brief sensory overload during assembly this morning. He was taken to the quiet room for about 10 minutes and returned to class calm. He had a very positive afternoon after that.
